Please take five minutes to tell me what you would do about the declining number of pilots.
Your ideas may hold the key to preserving our freedom to fly!
As part of its continuing program to interest more people in learning to fly, AOPA is planning a major initiative that could include just about anything-as long as it gets more adults to discover the fun and challenge of flying.  And when it comes to unique and good ideas, it always seems you as members often have the answers.  In many cases it may be something you've thought of that no one else has.

You can help General Aviation a great deal by completing this survey to the best of your ability.

But before you start, we need you to remember a couple of things:

1: The new pilots we want to attract are adults who have the time and the money to learn to fly right now.  That means successful people between the ages of 35 and 65.  In fact the average GA student pilot is 43.

2: Don't hold back.  Some ideas may seem too "out there" to be practical, but we want to hear them anyway.  After two decades of decline, we don't expect increasing the number of pilots to be easy.

Ready?  Let's get started.
